Bhuna Paneer Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams paneer, cut into cubes ๐Ÿง€
  • 2 onions, finely chopped ๐Ÿง…
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped ๐Ÿ…
  • 2 green chilies, chopped ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste ๐Ÿง„
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds ๐ŸŒฟ
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder ๐ŸŒฟ
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder ๐ŸŒฟ
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala ๐ŸŒฟ
  • Salt, to taste ๐Ÿง‚
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing ๐ŸŒฟ
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or vegetable oil ๐ŸŒฟ

Instructions:

  1. Heat ghee or vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter.
  3. Add chopped green chilies and ginger-garlic paste to the pan. Sautรฉ for a minute.
  4. Add finely chopped onions to the pan and cook until they turn golden brown.
  5. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to the pan. Mix well with the onion-tomato mixture.
  7. Add paneer cubes to the pan and gently mix them with the masala.
  8. Cover the pan and let the Bhuna Paneer simmer for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the paneer to absorb the masala.
  9. Garnish the dish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Serve the hot and flavorful Bhuna Paneer with roti, naan, or rice.
