Boston Cream Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 🌾

- 1 cup granulated sugar 🍚

- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 🍫
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 🧈
- 1/4 cup heavy cream 🥛
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over one of the cooled cake layers. Top with the remaining cake layer.
- In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream.
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
- Refrigerate the Boston Cream Pie for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
