Buffalo Wings Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split at joints and tips removed 🍗
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 🌾
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 🧂
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 🌶️
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot) 🌶️
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 🧈
  • Vegetable oil, for frying 🫔
  • Celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing, for serving 🥗

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the flour mixture.
  3. In a deep skillet or Dutch oven, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Carefully add the coated chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes per batch.
  5. While the wings are frying, in a separate bowl, combine the hot sauce and melted butter to make the Buffalo sauce.
  6. Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Transfer the fried wings to a large bowl and pour the Buffalo sauce over them, tossing until evenly coated.
  8. Serve the Buffalo wings hot with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
