Ingredients:

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour 🌾

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder 🌢️
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala 🌿

  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 🌿
  • Ghee or oil, for frying 🌿

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt. Gradually add water to knead a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the mashed cauliflower, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger paste, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, chopped coriander leaves, and salt to taste. Mix well to form a smooth filling.
  3. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Take one dough ball and roll it into a small disc.
  4. Place a portion of the cauliflower filling in the center of the disc. Bring the edges of the disc together to cover the filling and seal it properly.
  5. Flatten the stuffed dough ball with your hands and roll it gently into a round paratha, dusting with flour if needed.
  6. Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the tawa and cook until golden brown spots appear on one side.
  7. Flip the paratha and spread a little ghee or oil on the cooked side. Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the tawa and repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling.
  9. Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or any side dish of your choice.
