Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken pieces, preferably bone-in for extra flavor 🍗

  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped 🌿
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 🌿

Whole Spices:

  • 2-3 cloves 🌼
  • 2-3 green cardamom pods 🍃
  • 1-inch cinnamon stick 🍂
  • 1 bay leaf 🍃

Ground Spices:

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder 🌿
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder 🌿
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 🌞
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder 🌶️ (for color)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder 🌿

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or kadai over medium heat.
  2. Add the whole spices - cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and bay leaf. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
