Paneer Bhurji Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200 grams paneer, crumbled
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter.
- Add finely chopped onions to the pan and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they are soft and mushy.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to the pan. Mix well with the onion-tomato mixture.
- Cook the masala for a few minutes until the oil starts to separate from the masala.
- Add crumbled paneer to the pan and mix well with the masala.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, until the paneer is heated through and well-coated with the masala.
- Garnish the Paneer Bhurji with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve the hot and flavorful Paneer Bhurji with roti, paratha, or bread.
