Paneer Bhurji Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams paneer, crumbled 🧀
  • 1 onion, finely chopped 🧅
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped 🍅
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped 🌶️
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 🧄
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 🌿
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 🌿
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder 🌶️
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala 🌿
  • Salt, to taste 🧂
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing 🌿
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 🌿

Instructions:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter.
  3. Add finely chopped onions to the pan and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  4. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they are soft and mushy.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to the pan. Mix well with the onion-tomato mixture.
  7. Cook the masala for a few minutes until the oil starts to separate from the masala.
  8. Add crumbled paneer to the pan and mix well with the masala.
  9. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, until the paneer is heated through and well-coated with the masala.
  10. Garnish the Paneer Bhurji with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  11. Serve the hot and flavorful Paneer Bhurji with roti, paratha, or bread.
