Prawn Masala Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g fresh prawns, cleaned and deveined 🍤
  • 2 onions, finely chopped 🧅
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped 🍅
  • 2 green chilies, slit lengthwise 🌶️
  • 1-inch ginger, finely chopped 🧄
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk 🥥
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 🌿
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds 🌿
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 🌟
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder 🌶️
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala 🌿
  • A handful of curry leaves 🍃
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 🌿
  • Salt to taste 🧂
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish 🌿

Instructions:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and coriander seeds. Sauté until fragrant. 🌿
  2. Add chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until onions turn translucent. 🧅🌶️
  3. Add chopped ginger and garlic. Sauté until the raw smell disappears. 🧄
