Tawa Paneer Recipe
Tawa Paneer Recipe 🍽️
Ingredients:
- 250 grams paneer, cut into cubes 🧀
- 1 onion, finely chopped 🧅
- 1 tomato, finely chopped 🍅
- 1 green bell pepper (capsicum), thinly sliced 🫑
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 🧄
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped 🌶️
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 🌿
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder 🌿
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 🌿
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder 🌶️
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala 🌿
- Salt, to taste 🧂
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing 🌿
- Vegetable oil, for cooking 🌿
Instructions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large tawa or skillet over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter.
- Add finely chopped onions to the tawa and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes to the tawa and cook until they are soft and mushy.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt to the tawa. Mix well with the onion-tomato masala.
- Add thinly sliced green bell pepper (capsicum) to the tawa and sauté for a couple of minutes until slightly softened.
- Gently add the paneer cubes to the tawa and mix them with the masala and vegetables.
- Cook the paneer on the tawa for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is heated through and coated evenly with the masala.
- Sprinkle garam masala over the paneer and mix well.
- Garnish the Tawa Paneer with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve the hot and aromatic Tawa Paneer immediately with naan, roti, or paratha.
